Operations Forum

TAPMI Operations Forum is a student body, which works with the threefold mission of nurturing interest of students in operations, providing networking with industry and highlighting career opportunities in operations domain.

The forum aims to invoke interest among students in various areas of operations and information science such as Supply Chain, Analytics, Operation Strategies, Logistic solutions & many others. Operations forum aims to help students apply theoretical concepts to practical situations through engaging interactions with industry leaders. Additionally, it also conducts various activities such as simulation games, quizzes, case studies, knowledge transfer sessions and other events. The key activities include

Supply Chain and Operations Exposition (S.C.O.P.E.) – one of the biggest annual conclave of Operations Forum of TAPMI started with an aim to increase interaction with industry stalwarts through panel discussions, lecture series, one to one interactions and interviews. The exposition is based on a theme that is in play in the Operations and Supply Chain Industry. The event also provides a platform to students to participate and portray their talent through multiple competitions like presentation challenge, case study challenge, quizzes etc.

Ops Diaries – an annual event held by the Operations Forum to help the fellow students know what it feels like to be in the role of an Operations & Supply Chain manager and to demystify the myths surrounding the role of Operations & Supply Chain in the Industry.

OpSights – the main objective of this activity is to spread real time industry knowledge to the students. This is done through posting articles related to supply chain, logistics, latest happenings in industry related to the field of operations etc.
