A. Pai Management Institute. He has a proven track record in setting up staffing business operations, talent supply chain consulting, change management and turnaround. He believed in talking about imperfections which are usually avoided. He said the reality is that nobody teaches boss management to new recruits.
Transformational HR is aligning HR policies with the business context of an organization. HRs are constantly in touch with employees and they are the first people who can pick up signals if anything is going to take a turn for the worst, citing the example of mass attrition. According to him, Transformational HR was aligning into this space.
A good business partnership between the organization and the HR arises when the HRs know the kind of talent they have in the company and are aware of that which is absent. They should be able to segregate talent into segments as to know what portion of the employee pool is marginally talented.
Mostly the HR departments of organisations concentrate on employees joining and leaving, along with legal hassles. When they are caught up in tasks like these, people engagement decreases. He also stressed on the importance of HRs knowing the technical aspect of the business.
He ended up on a note by saying that at the end of the day we are all human beings and we need proper understanding in order to assess each other as human beings.
