Republic Day Celebrations at TAPMI

TAPMI celebrated India’s 63rd Republic day with the same enthusiasm and zeal for which it is known. Mr. A S Vasudev Rao, Director was the chief guest of the function. The function started at 8:30 AM sharp in front of the Knowledge Centre. Faculty members had reached with their family members to celebrate the day. Students came in a good number to celebrate. The function began with the hoisting of the flag by the chief guest followed by the singing of the national anthem. The day was much more than just a celebration .It reminds us of the fact that a lot needs to be done and the onus is on the shoulders of the youth today. With this in mind, TAPMI in association with Lions Club, a volunteer organization organized a blood donation camp in the campus itself.

The blood donation camp was organized by the Welfare Committee of TAPMI and the donors were awarded certificates of appreciation by the Kasturba Medical College. The able doctors and personnel from KMC extended their complete support and co-operation in this initiative. Many of the TAPMI faculty members also donated blood inspiring and showing the way to the students. The students duly filled up the forms and waited for their turns to donate blood, wherein not even a hint of lack of enthusiasm was observed.  A total of 43 people including students, faculty and service personnel of TAPMI, donated their blood.
