Alumni Affairs Committee (AAC) is pleased to announce Mr. M H Reddy (EPGDM 2002-04) as the Alumnus of the Month (AoM) for July 2010.
Mr. M.H. Reddy is an Alumnus of TAPMI CEE Bangalore. After completing his PGDM from TAPMI CEE and having had over 18 years of experience in IFB Automotive, Mr. M H Reddy currently serves as the Vice President of IFB Automotive which holds over 60% market share in safety and comfort seating mechanisms catering to Indian cars.
As a mechanical engineer he has invented safety and comfort mechanisms (application of automotive seats widely used in cars, MUV’s and SUV’s) and has also applied for 7 Indian patents and 5 international patents. Mr. M H Reddy has also received international patent rights for one of his inventions (L2K2 Recliner) from USA, Taiwan, China, Thailand and India.

As a business head, he has traveled widely across the globe in the last 12 years including the USA, Canada, Europe and many Asian countries for techno-commercial discussions with global OEM’s like Honda, Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, Renault-Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford and General Motors and tier-1 suppliers like Johnson Controls, Dymos Lear and TS Tech Sun.
He also delivered a lecture as a part of a seminar conducted by the Government of India, Science and Technology department, on ‘Low Cost Automation’ at VIT, Vellore. His topic for the talk involved using pneumatics in low cost automation for the automotive industry.
