TAPMI in Top 15 B-Schools in India
Check out the latest issue (October 17, 2010) of The Week magazine where TAPMI figures in the Top 15 B-schools in India.
TAPMI has been ranked 4th in South Zone after ISB, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode.
TAPMI is in the final stage of accreditation for AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and we hope by end of this year TAPMI will become the first business school in the country to get this prestigious recognition, a mark of quality of education all around the world.
The current year also witnessed TAPMI launch a slew of initiatives:
- Leadership Lecture Series
- India’s First Blue Ocean Strategy Research Center
- Disha – HR Conclave , 2010
Definitely, the mood is upbeat in the campus and we hope to keep the momentum going!

wow what a roller coaster ride !
Great News
Well done guys…really good news!
It is a come back guys (as sumantra said above – roller coaster ride). Yeah, TAPMI had, a decade back, ranks @ 13, 14, 15, 18 by different magazines. Imagine these rankings we got even when we were in The Stand Alone Twin Towers (I mean our old campus). Over the years, there have been so many surveys, for obvious reasons (commercial?). And then, different strokes by different folks, I mean with the variety of measuring parameters including perception studies.
Rarely, any of these agencies come down to our campus or contact Director / Deans / Faculty / Students / Alumni / Recruiters / Aspirants either face to face or over telephone or email to assess the inherent strengths. They simply shoot a questionnaire with host of questions / data to be responded. Some follow up with requests for Advertisements.
Despite our geographic (dis)location, we have been appearing in the top while a majority of the toppers are always from Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai etc or typically known popular brands like IIMs/IIFT/MDI/XLRI/SP Jain etc. Congrats.
